Changes
Received an email from my main client. He needs to make a change in our business relation he said, details tomorrow by phone. This is a bad sign - communication was already low during the past few months and I knew there would need to be some change; but I had planned it only for june. Obvioiusly I had planned to positively - and it’s always nicer to announce such a change to someone else than having it announced to oneself.

As expected. It is a pity, because there was still a lot of stuff I wanted to do for this client. But things can change and doors are not shut. It had been good, working for him these past few years.

Just to ensure this situation is understood correctly. It is not that we terminated our business relationsip in bad blood or anything the like, it’s just that I have become too expensive for them in their current business situation and rather than suddenly not being able to pay me after I’ve put time into the continous job, they will approach me from time to time (depending what their finances allows them) for consulting and special projects.
