This afternoon Bear and I where on the farm to help putting up Joan’s new hoop house – 12 feet high, 20 feet wide and 100 feet long. We calculated that we easily could pack 250 people into it. Triple it even, depending on how we’d stack them :tongue_laugh:.
It is huge!
The picture shows Bear a week before, when he helped putting up the frame of the construction. This week we put up the plastic. Scott and John Web helped and the wind did some too. The day before it had rained heavily and the soil was soggy and very wet and muddy. But Joan covered a walk-/standing area with hay and it wasn’t too bad. Kristy joined later in the after noon and made us some pizza. It was a gorgeous and mostly sunny day – Bear and I now both have a sun burn though mine only begun showing late at night while he was already bright red when we left the farm. The hoop house looks majestaetic – of course I expect now produce for free for the rest of my life from Joan :snake:.
