Cute
We have the cutest new squirrel family: 3 little ones, each with a bright white chest. In huge jumps they go across the hurdle which our grass poses to them. I hope our neighbor’s orange tomboy cat won’t see them for a while and gives them a chance to grow up.

Stumbling across this post today, I can give the update of the fact that these 3 squirrels grew up and all summer and fall stayed together in our yard. They loved playing with each other and it was often quite amusing to watch them chase each other round and round a stem of one of our oak trees. Our cats also loved watching them this year. I hope they’ll make it well through this winter.
