Cool

Received email to go ahead on the DVD project. This is really cool, I think it’s an exciting project and it seems that Bear and WombatStudios might get involved too – I suggested them as the camera team, Bear with his knowledge in photography and former experience with shooting for a tv commercial would be just great, also we know each other and that helps for shooting. So he is going to come along when I have the meeting for the first, rough story board sign-off on Friday.

Another neat side to this all is that I had diciplined myself to, “work on promotional actions and begin remodeling the kitchen only after the next bigger job has come in” while at the same time being desperate at getting the deck table out and the kitchen aisle built, next to painting the walls in that gorgeous Spring Hill green color… and now I can do it!

Note: At the same time I am working on a smaller website project that has come in just the other day, and the next bigger one is only pending approval of the estimate to start going. Obviously I am doing some things right ;-)

Well, today I “officially” finished the project, i.e. turned over a couple of burned CD’s and the DVD Data file so that they can happily burn copies themselfs including CD and Jewel case labels.

Seems that they are really happy with the product. Myself, I find the end product okay. I do think it has some really good stuff in it but also some weaker stuff and of course I know already what all I would do different and/or better the next time. This is typical for me. Never fully happy with what I have achieved. But this is (my) evolution and challenge of trying to accomplish the perfect product in this only almost perfect universe.
