Wonderful
It has happened, it has occured: it’s a product. Well, minus the isle to be build.
Kitchen finally looks great.
Took forever too. Once the last test color was dried, it became obvious that it won’t work out, it made the wood look ugly, while the original color enhanced the look of it. So the final decision was to do it in Tate Olive. Took me 6 hours to do the second coat of color.
Once the colors where all up on the ceiling and walls it became obvious that the white window blinds (sliding deck doors) just will be a fist into any viewers eye, much to harsh! We went to look at options, but none of the available vertical blinds would have matched or where way too expensive, I was just not willing to go and pay that. We then decided to go ahead and try and paint them, what I did, in just one step lighter than the wall color, in Ryegrass. And this looks just perfect! Now everything ties together, I even painted the dishwasher front panel also in Ryegrass.
Then we got a great new kitchen pendant: Ancient Stone look. Cool. It’s hanging too low right now, even for the future kitchen isle, so we will need to hang it higher, which I am working on.
Am very happy with the overall outcome!
Now I need to confront building the kitchen isle.
