Boat launch

Boat launch in progress.

After re-scheduling 3x we finally made it: today is big boat launch (or drown).

But all re-scheduling did not help - we begun in rain. Driving here it came pouring down and the poor guys had to begin putting up the mast in the down pour. But not even the rain stopped the boat of pulling attraction - “is that a wooden boat?” - “sure is!”. After a while even the rain stopped and then the sun began peaking out and then it cleared up fully.

With the sun the many other boat owners came out and soon it became quite crowded. What a gorgeous lake Lawrence has. Another sailor said that this is the perfect lake for sailing boats as all motorboats stay close to shore - it would be quiet and perfect.

After only a few little snares (e.g. a minor leak that needed fixing) she made it into the water and she looks great!
