Pretty slick

Software is getting better by the day. For any cooking fan who owns a Mac and a .mac account (iDisk@Apple) can now publish and share their recipes with just a click - and all styled typically Mac like.

I tested just some random recipe and published it to myRecipes on my .mac account at Apple.

People can read that easily (there is e.g. a guy who created a huge collection with several categories for easy management) and anybody using MacGourmet (an iTunes like cooking recipes collection/browser/manager) as I do, can simply drag the recipe icon from the web-browser into the open MacGourmet window and the application will import and format in an instant. Perfect sharing.

  1. From my referrer listings I can see that this posting here is one of the most seeked ones due to the amount of “MacGourmet+serial” searches on Google, which I find pretty funny. Okay, okay, the “how to remove popcorn ceiling” is still higher in ranking but not by far. Anyway, if you are looking for a serial number, sorry, you will not find it here - but I can tell you, it’s worth putting out the money for MacGourmet, especially if you like a nice interface and how iTunes works.

  2. I love MacGourmet too and did happen to stumble across your site while searching for info on the program.

The google thing is pretty funny!
