Bees
I am weird, or so I have been told often. I again think I am quite normal, maybe unique but not weird. But my family, now THAT is a different cup of tee - they are weird :shade_smirk:.
That’s not Spiderman nor Superman, but our own Beeman.
As if Joan and Jim have enough to do with an Organic Farm (next to a Wood Shop), 40 cats, 2 horses, 2 dogs, numerous chicken and rooster, each Saturday Farmer’s Market, catering, several other time consuming involvements next to being a good grandma and taking care of 2 grandchildren when school is out, etc. etc. etc. - and Joan (mom in law) even telling me she hasn’t a clue when to find the time to remodel her kitchen what she desperatedly wants to do though… so, as if that wouldn’t be enough, last week Joan decided to get 1 million bee’s. Yes, not just a few hundred or thousand but 1,000,000 of them! Once more the saying “if you want it done, give it to the busiest person” seems to hold true. The former owner is leaving next month to Australia or something the like and she thought this would be a nice addition to the Farmer’s Market and sell well. Good thing is, we never again have to buy honey. And seemingly they are quite low maintenance - in winter they go into hibernation - but what do they do in summer? Chasing the 40 cats?
