Trinidad

Trinidad

Oh, did I forget to mention? We where to leave today again. But there where still boxes stacked on the new lawn of the Miller’s and their computers where still not setup. Thus Bear and I decided to add a day. Rather that then to stress in the morning, leave at 3 and drive 1/2 of the trip again during the night and needing to worry about deer running into our MiniS.

We took it easy today. Everyone walked only slowly. After a late breakfast we emptied the lawn (stacked the shed with the stuff), slowly only as we still all hurt A LOT, and then Bear installed the computer in their new (and still over-flowing) office. I felt so relieved, I almost cried. Now it’s merely up to David and Jenny to get order into the house at their own speed.

Bear and I took then a well deserved sight-seeing trip, nothing major, a few miles in one direction, to a lake and back, then a bit up and into the hills. Later we all squezzed into Miller’s van and drove the 15 miles to New Mexico and to the first town there. And drove back - not without making a quick stop for the kids, so they could put foot onto New Mexico. Pictures of this trip can be found by clicking onto the litte image thumb.

A great dinner at a small mexican restaurant was impressive. Really, really good food - the restaurant was owned by a young guy and his uncle and they cooked and the young one even served. But oh, so yummie. This made me feel again a lot better, even though I still hurt all over.

To finalixe the day we all went again to the hottub - I don’t know how I would have survived these days without it. Checked my email via my cell phone, watched some TV and we all hung out a bit in the motel room and that was it.

I hope I don’t have to move me or anyone else for the next few years.
