New Photo iPod
I looked at this yesterday and I looked at it today: this is a great iPod and even though I originallyREALLY wanted a lighter iPod for when I go walking, after talking with Bear I have to admit, this photoiPod really, really looks cool.
Thus I decided to do this, even though in general I’m not one to help the advertisement juggernaut.
And here it comes, my blunt “please, please pretty pretty please, click onto this link and follow the arduous procedure, sign up for one of their offers and like that help me get a free Photo iPod!!!”..
Just so you know, this is for you (only ONE person per household!!!) the procedure:
0) click here.
1) you’ll first have to sign up (best use a temporary email address to avoid potential future spam).
2) click through the optional survey - anser each of the questions with NO. Note: even though it is called “optional”, there is no way around it and they’ll present you with about 20 screens with ‘are you interested in receiving blabla’ - just click NO to all of them - of course, if you WANT, feel free to click YES :-). Additional Note: If your browser is presenting you at this step with error messages, switch your browser to Internet Explorer or some other PC browser.
3) now you need to act on one of their offers. Please make sure that you read the small print with the various offers, I really would not want you to get some bad surprise with it.
4) if you DID sign up for an offer, please let me know!
Thank you very much for your participation and support here. I know the offers on that site are not the most exciting ones (credit cards, DVD clubs, music clubs, anti-wrinkle cream and such), so if you did sign up for one of these offers and support me for this photo ipod, your efforts are even double appreciated.
Update: I was going to send this posting to a couple of friends and family but after talking with Bear I’m biting the bullet and will not. Because he is right, this chain advertisement is something I basically absolutely do NOT stand for, and just because it’s so simple it still does not make it right to send it to people and ask them to support me on this one.
So I will NOT send out emails, but I will leave it here on this site: first of as a reminder of integrity and that sometimes not doing something is the right thing to do - but on the other side ALSO to give others a chance to support me with this IF they want to. With the little traffic here on this site, the chances are more than just tiny that my family and/or friends will even see this entry (didn’t even get rid of my free Gmail invites!), but things can happen and it is not only open to friends to participate and I will not slam the door on chance :-).

And just to say, the whole thing started after reading on a second website about this and following through there (see link for THAT outcome), thinking to give her such a gadget, because her site has helped me a lot in the past - talking about scriptygoddess. But so far I received the goods but no update on the free photo ipod website. I emailed the people where I followed up with the offer, but have not heard back from them. I do hope this whole thing is not truly a scam, not so much about me, like Bear said, if I REALLY want it, it’s easier to buy than this hassle, but I really wanted to help providing it to somebody else.

Okay, DON’T DO IT. It’s a scam. And I noted it also on another blog: my last comment. Further up in that thread I’ve commented another 2 times. The link on that site has been removed, and I am seriously considering doing the same here.
