Change
Woke up to all of this snow this morning. So peaceful and quiet. The snow heavy, heavy - branches of trees touching the ground. Each tree seems to be its own tent. So far I found only one branch of a tree broken. That is not too bad but still bums me out. My job was to empty the trees of their weight while Bear did the drive way shoveling. What a good workout first thing in the morning, even though I am STILL hurting from Mondays 2 1/2 hours ballet workout.
Unfortunately the trees which line 116th street - so great and pretty in white in spring and very impressive in fall too! - hadn’t lost their leaves yet and I just heard that those branches all broke under the heavy weight of this snow. Will have to go and take a look at them, I hope they are not utterly destroyed :-(.
