Finally
The first bird made it finally to our feeder this year. I admit, we were terribly late in starting to fill the feeder - something like the 20 december or such - but it never took animals THIS long to find food on our deck. So this morning, with some sun, several birds found their way.
Unfortunately I forgot to change the ISO back down from the last shots I took indoor during the Xmas get-together at George’s. Now everything is grainy at 800 ISO. Oh well, my excuse is that I was just too excited to finally have the birds back.
Still waiting for the squirrels to show up too.

UPDATE: Just a few hours later also the squirrels have made it. They love the dried bread I put out for them - leftover from our Xmas cheese fondue.
