Concert

LoadPointPull in concert

First, there was snow. And more snow. It was hell driving to the concert. But it was fun. Even though the group – LoadPointPull – had us wait, and wait, and wait – something like 1 1/2 hours of delay. I almost walked out on them, just because I got so bored at waiting. Then, finally some action. And I didn’t run and I didn’t scream and actually enjoyed myself. Biggest lessons learned that evening: always take a spare battery along for the camera and get used to the fact, if there IS too little light, no matter how hard I try, I am NOT ABLE to keep the camera still at 1/6th of a second and so either USE the darn flash (what I avoid and avoid and avoid) or don’t waste your time even THINKING that the next shot will be “maybe” sharp IF only I concentrate enough – and even for those exceptional moments when I CAN hold the camera still, the people SHOT will be nothing else but a blur. Then of course, there are the deliberately artistic(?) shot photos.
