Oh, bad boy, bad boy

Today I noticed that I had one – yes, ONE – referrer spammer still making it to my site. One main URL with some sub-URL’s but basically all the same domain. Remembering times past, now any HINT of a spammer gets me to take out the meanest weapons I can find. Using Bad Behavior has pretty much eliminated all spam I used to get, but now – after this ONE little critter, who managed to fake his way and get listed as referrer, sprang to my attention – I’ve also installed Referrer Karma. Sitting back and watching the show.

Jaja, I like it. Looked at the generated statistic today and it’s quite amazing: recognized valid queries from a WordPress Support thread but some stripper domain got blocked and blacklisted. It’s a VERY satisfying feeling to get a little even with those dumb spammers. I LIKE it.
