Surprised

And flattered. Of course. You would too if you suddenly find your photoblog on somebody’s list. Worthwhile to check me out. Of course I’m flattered. This acknowledgment makes me understand a little better why people go into competitions, I always thought people do that for feeling “better than the other”, but my viewpoint is beginning to change, many might do it just for the sake of “receiving acknowledgment that I’m really good”, because that is a darn nice feeling. Then I started browsing some of the other links. Next thing I knew is that I’m once again telling myself that “I need really work on my techniques and content and… I still have a long way to go.

    Hey Marlyse,

For some reason I did not notice your entry until just now (about six months later) when it caught my eye in my web referrer logs.

I think you take great shots; you have a refreshing eye and a taste for colour and placement. When I came across your site I bookmarked it immediately; I’m pleased to share the link!

I’ve only gotten into the photo thing in the post year, myself, so I can identify with the kind of remark and realisation you make here.

    Keep shooting!
