My first Kite

kite flying

Didn’t fly. That’s for going cheap. But this one, the big one was great. Perfect balance, perfect wind. Next to tons of chigger bites I also got my turn in flying it, but I almost had to fight for it. When we told my Dad that we wanted to go for a picnic in the park and some kite flying, he almost jumped like a little boy, THAT excited he was, and he couldn’t wait to send it up. After the picnic Bear rose to the challenge and even got the small, frisky one up for a short while before it plunged into the ground. So here we have them, the big boy and the little boy and their kite.
