Changing Gears

After a week of more activity than I usually have in a month – every day eating out in a different restaurant, art project with nieces, 5 kids over for a sleep over, father in the house, family gathering at my house, golf lessons in the yard, golfing at the driving range, mini-golf, picnic, flying my first kite, more eating, meeting others out for eating, setting up my mom with her first computer, buying a digital camera (and printer) for my mom, showing my dad how to use a mac, watching dad play the sims on the xbox, playing myself in world of warcraft and getting my hunter over 50, baking breads and foccacia for sandwiches, being eaten alive by chiggers, worrying about my sister who is soon turning 50 and not doing well, and so on and I am sure I forgot a few things – I’m having a hard time to change gears and get back into my routine of work and play and workout. The thought of activating my body including the newly added 5 pounds is frightening, so much easier to sit back and do nothing. Plus the bad weather came back and all is dark and gray outside at 9:30 AM. So yeah, it’s a bit difficult getting again motivated and moving.
