Not such a good day
This morning I was to go for a regular checkup. What should had been a quick in and out turned into a 2 hour marathon with news out of the blue and left field. Digesting ever since. No, not such a good day. Trying to put my emotions onto ice until I know if there are true reasons to dramatize.
To take my mind of chewing on these news, we went to see THE BROTHERS GRIMM which is better than the reviews led to believe. The first third of the movie seemed a bit all over the place, but when looked at as build-up of the characters and their relationships, it kinda works out. Later the movie gets tighter and also funnier. Many of the effects where nicely done - with a few being week (the blanket floating a away for example). Nice thing was that you didn’t really know what to expect and some scenes were very typical TERRY GILLIAM which I definitely enjoyed.
