Digital life

When during watching the movie KING KONG – worth almost every minute of the plus 3 hours of movie – I suddenly had the impulse to press a button because I quickly wanted to rewind life a few seconds to watch some small scene again which I hadn’t fully gotten, it hit me – having gotten so used to being able to rewind and replay pretty much everything: DVD movies, music, animations on the computer and even what played on TV – I transfered this to life and wanted to apply it there too. Yes, I did not want to rewind the movie but life itself and for a split second my intention was fully set on that and my reality was that it was a total normal thing to do and no hesitation that this would be something weird or not possible. Funny notion to some extent – but also scary in some aspects.
