Sorry guys
For now all comments are shut off. Tired of deleting all the spam I’m getting. Rot in spam hell or get off some place else. Even though it never makes it to the blog itself, that’s it for now. Closed down and database cleared to the last trace.

As closing down comments did not work - these people obviously have direct links to overcome even remotely standard security - I’ve enabled commenting again. Lesson learned : It is obviously time to upgrade to the latest version of WordPress and all spam preventors in their latest incarnations.

HA! - After 2 days of being flodded by comment span - it reached a staggering 150+ fake comments per day! - I saw red enough to handle the problem for now. I know it’s not safe from ALL spammer techniques, but you now have to enter the random generated letters and numbers or else it won’t even get into the queue. Haven’t seen ONE spam comment in 2 or 3 days now!
