Spring Fatigue

thumb-chair.jpg

This year “it” has hit me exceptionally strong. I work but every step is covered with tiredness. It remains gray and too cold outside. And I possibly ruined my bamboo this winter by not giving enough water, he is all dry and the leaves are shriveled and last year didn’t look like this at all at the end of the indoor time and I feel terrible about it. We also should prepare our yard for summer but it’s only 47 degree Fahrenheit (8.5 Celsius) and I think this COLD. And work is going like melted cheese… slow. All this leads to this tremendous bulk of tiredeness. The moment I stop working I fall deeply a sleep and can’t find any trace of my usual morning fresh- and eagerness. Please get warm - I want to get out and get some vitamin A from the sun!!!

The only thing remotely interesting is that we bought yesterday 2 Henry Miller AERON chairs - that was after I realized I’d rather spend a fortune on a good chair than on the chiropractor. It’s what I do all day, sitting that is. Worth investing a bit!

Each visit to the chiropractor to fix what shouldn’t be out in the first place cost me roughly $60 - doesn’t take THAT many visits to justify the chair and I had 3 visits in the past month already - yes, my knee is still bothering me and I’m still avoiding workout, but it’s the hip where the problem is stemming from, not the knee - currently I have no longer instant pain each time I move, but still happening from time to time - yes, I’ll need to go a 4th time to Heather to fully handle.

Out of all things, I have began biking - yes, me! - because anything moving the knee and leg straightforward works, just can’t cross my legs or do side-kicks or anything the like. Well, it IS getting better now, but I’m still scared moving because when the pain sets in it is excruciating! And even though I do not like to bike, at least it helps getting my heart-rate up and I can watch TV while doing it and it is better than doing nothing until my hip/pelvis has fully recovered from whatever it’s dramatizing. And I’m up to doing roughly 6 miles at an average of 12 miles per hour. Some people might laugh at these numbers, but for me who hates biking and always has, this numbers are excellent as I never did more than 2 miles before!
