Canvas Primer for Artists
Sometimes you quickly want to read up on some information and don’t feel like searching all over the web or your archives on the desktop as usually you’ve anyhow forgotten as to where exactly you dumped this or that snippet.
Today when I was trying to remember if I needed to size my linen canvas for acrylic or not and if I wanted to use primer and gesso as ground or just go with gesso I once again came to the point that I could not easily remember where I could look-up this stuff quickly. Thus it was back to GOOGLE the question. Looking through the web I then found some interesting articles which I’ve dumped here into this posting - for future ease and my own laziness. Usually this would just go into the ASIDES category but there was enough work involved with this posting that I’m putting it here. Oh, and then later trying not to spend a fortune online ordering the various things cost me another 2 hours… at least ;-)
