CSS Zen Garden: Vertical Garden

This is a nice change : having the – usually left or right – column run through the middle. Recently I noticed a tiredness and boredom when looking at all the standard design, navigation left / right and big text block – in all variations but basically still all based on the same weighting of navigation+content. Not that I think this solution is the user friendliest (main titles in the middle being as bulky and non-legible makes reading the content not easier, plus in this circumstance I’d say the left and right columns are too narrow as the center title is this dominant… but anyway, it’s the basic principle which I definitely think interesting and worth while exploring.
