Brendan turned 15

Not today but about a week ago. So we got all together for a little celebration, I brought my favourite Taboulé Salad and also AMY, who must be quite happy to see again her cousins and have other kids to hang out with. As Joan and Kristy had been at market - and thus Joan was up since 5 AM - we kept it quite short. It was a nice, relaxed late afternoon and evening with me playing some Sims2 while hanging out.

For me, 15 was not a good year. It was the year my beloved grandfather - “Opa” - passed away and then my parents (finally) separated. It was not a happy year. It was hard being a teenager and I was haplessly in love with a beau who became in later years my friend but never my lover. It was definitely not a good year for me.

Brendan on the other hand seems to be doing well and enjoying live and computer games and sport and he (still) turnes red when he gets teased with jokes of sexual content. He is cute and can be all so charming and I’m sure the girls are quite after him, something I had going only after I reached 20.

Well, lets see how things are at 18 and if he’ll beat Duncan’s “greasy phase” or not go down that path at all.
