How-to take my breath away… in an instant.

Bear has always had the ability to surprise me. And he still does this after all these years. Either it’s an un-expeced Xmas gift like an iPod-MINI or with a sudden revelation that he was considering to take up some German lessons and he by himself was one when we met, that somebody like this existed, somebody to compliment me and my way of thinking and being.

Yes, and once again he did it.

He was out-of-town for 4 days and came back home and his first to say when we met in the hallway to great each other were the words “hello beautiful!” in such a charming and direct way – I was smitten.

So what, you might think – just a compliment – but you have to understand that he is not a man of constant compliments and sugar coating – he has NEVER told me something like this in 9 years of companionship.The fact THAT he said it but also the WAY in which he said it was so NEW to me, so unexpected and so… COOL.

One of these special moments to savor – and not to count on to happen very quickly again :-)
