Habari: A New Blogging Tool by Blogging Pro

This is going to be interesting. Right now, I LIKE that the interface is so sparse because this has been in my experience the biggest barrier for new people: too much interface including too many buttons and options into their face when the only thing they want to do is write a simple blog entry. So, lets see how this develops:

Habari is a new blog engine. The name comes from the Swahili word that means “what’s the news?” Unlike other blog software currently on the market, Habari will be using more current technologies like object oriented programming techniques, thanks to PHP 5, and some slick interface interactions thanks to AJAX from the prototype library.
