Winter returned.

leftover

A few days ago we suddenly had dropped temperatures and ice with snow. Winter had returned. A few days later we had some leftover ice around but it seemed to be melting away. But only a few hours later the world turned and changed once again, only to leave me with a wonderful Saturday spent at the fire while all turned white and whiter. That’s what I had wished for Christmas, but even so, I’m enjoying it and feeding the birds and squirrels. Kristy was worried for us driving to Ottawa (Kansas) for John’s (White) birthday get-together, but the roads where fine and we had a nice time hanging out together.
