Blue.

It's a beginning

No, not me. I’m only hurting, back and feet from standing such a long time. The main color I was working with today was blue. Pure Cyan. 3 canvases, each 4 feet by 4 feet. Yes, my left hand and arm and shoulder hurt too. That is a lot of surface area with a 1/2 inch wide brush to cover. If I wouldn’t have been so tired, I would have continued. But after 5 hours, it was a GOOD point, a lot accomplished. I was going to take a shot with my cell phone’s camera, but then forgot. Next time.

The 3 pieces are: “Flying to the Moon” - “The Thinker and the Ruler” - “Control (the Elements)” and this is the sequence as they need to be hung, i.e. The Thinker and the Ruler are the middle piece.

The only thing that irks me is that I did not give enough attention, love and patients when mounting the canvas on the background, so I will need to redo some gluing and some stretching as some of the canvases are not perfect and the edges, well yeah, the edges. And that I miss-calculated canvas length doesn’t help the issue at all. Now, if the foundation is less ‘clean’ and less ‘worth’ than the painting on top, it is a waste. For this reason I need to fix it and get it at a point where error has transferred in creation and a quality solution. Will do the needed fixes on Monday.
