Achieving “round numbers” usually give me a good feeling, you know, the day when your first car reached 70,000 miles or your fast food lunch was exactly 3 dollars with no pennies returned or added. But this round number which I achieved just a moment ago, I don’t know… :
Caught Spam Akismet has caught 15,000 spam for you since you installed it.
Just imagine the amount of work and lost time I would have had if I would need to wade through all this flooding of comment spam. I’ve installed Akismet not even a year ago and I’m already at this number. If I only had this many little needles for the guys sending out this junk over the internet, one prick of a needle for every junk-spam-comment you try entering on my site and every other blog world wide, now THAT would be fun watching, you dancing the little dance of the OUCH‘es :-)
