Trying to remember when my brain switched to english.

Some weeks ago I suddenly realized that I no longer think in Swiss German but in English. This is, when I think in words and not concepts. It was an odd feeling to notice this, it was quite unexpected. Do I feel now more American? I don’t think so. My English didn’t get any better by it either.

There are a few exceptions to this new condition: I know for example that when I get very frustrated and I want to swear - mainly while using the Playstation and the Kinetic Eye Toy for workout which ideally tracks your movements in real time via a little camera and gives you a real good workout… IF it’s able to track, i.e. the setup for it has to be in a very specific way to be able to track and currently we do not have that so at times it will track just perfectly but too often it will not register the correct movement and then the workout will get majorly awkward and frustrating.

Another question which is left open is if I also dream now in English. I will need to pay attention - the next time I remember to do so while I sleep :-)
