My friend, my PowerBook, is back.

It looks like new. Complete new Display Panel and Top Case. Only my keyboard keys are the same – and just as dirty of course as I had left them before the repair :-)

This is a perfect time to trim down the bloated content I had been carrying around. But I will not be as dumb as when I redid the G5 to completely install from scratch – way too much hassle and to be avoided where possible. But I will be very selective as to which applications and thus which preference files I’ll be copying back and will definitely not copying back any caches etc. and only the little widgets I really use and love…

… it’s a super-diet for my PowerBook!
