Done. For now.

With upgrading and updating that is. 4 (family) blogs run nicely under the newest version of WordPress, installed a new Photo Gallery for one of the sites, used templates where needed – not the time to sit down and create a full design for all sites right now. Even though I tried reducing time investment, finding the right template was very time consuming and the most tedious part of it all, upgrading WordPress was definitely not the hardest step, even not from WP version 1.5 up to 2.1! WordPress has it’s famous 5-min-install how-to and after following those steps several times one might notice that it actually even takes less than that, so once again, thanks and kudos to WordPress and team!

The only thing which was really messy to upgrade was PLIGG. It was even SO messy, that in the end I just reverted back to my backup and am back at the 8.1 version. Not the right time to fiddle around with something which just doesn’t seem as smooth as is for me… possibly I should just integrate THAT page somehow into my website… now that’s a thought to ponder.
