Finally.

Had my final critique last week and finished the term paper just on time (last night) – spent all of Friday evening and the weekend on it, even during our Mother’s Day visit at the farm, I was just working away while the others idly sat around and chatted. But it’s done. And the other job I had is done too and the client billed.

I’m feeling by now the busy schedule and that I didn’t have a day off over the weekend but it’s still going to be a little chaotic and at times hectic for the next few weeks before it – hopefully – will settle into a more stable routine.

Right now I’m at an odd spot. All the time scheduled priorities have now been completed and the deadlines quite well met – so I’m done. But on the other hand I need to get really busy and preparing the house for my dad’s visit, and need to do some clothes shopping for work, and I have this painting (called “pay attention”) I have the strong urge to again work on (it sat for about 10 months now), and then I have various finance cycles and other paper work I need to get done… and, and, and… .

Thus still not feeling spaced and relaxed but kinda pushed and squashed and rushed – BUT, as this IS a moment of “done” and also almost 10 PM, I’ve decided to let go, relax, and play a little, The Sims Life Stories, which is nicely time consuming with no other valuable outcome but having entertained for a bit.
