Not here but still attached.
Of course you have heard, it is all over the news.
My first 6 years in the USA I lived up in Minneapolis and the first 4 years in Shoreview, a suburb not too far away, which meant that we used this bridge quite often (though we would get off I-35W mostly a tad earlier and pass the Mississippi via the Hennepin bridge to go to Bear’s office).
We heard the news through Trey - his kids are visiting their former nanny up in Minneapolis - he called to let us know they are okay and were not on the bridge.
As far as I know, nobody I know was on the bridge. But seeing these pictures and hearing what occurred is painful, especially due to the fact of HAVING a connection with there.
Tragedies like this do give me a feeling of unreality, not only because I am an onlooker.
