Out with the old – that was the easy part.

We knew about counter top and front facia modifications coming our way.

But of course there is more.

In our case the inner space is about 1/2 inch (1.25 cm) too tight, which means major cabinetry work, i.e. ripping out the right cabinet without damaging the tile counter top and rebuilding the cabinet to accommodate the needed space.

Outsch.

One thing I know – this will not be completed this weekend :-)
