Apple update disables unlocked iPhones

Are you also wondering how long it will take until somebody – who knowingly went against Apple warranty and terms of the iPhone and unlocked their iPhone just to find out that their toy no longer plays to their tunes – will try and sue Apple over it. We ARE in the USA, after all, where it is said that it is better to kill a burglar than to corner and arrest him as he might sue you and… win!

After cautioning customers earlier this week that unlocked iPhones may be disabled when installing future Apple software updates, the company on Thursday made good on its warning.
