Getting back into the habit.

This is always something I struggle with. Breaking the flow of a good habit and then getting back into the groove.

A couple of months back I decided to spice up my workouts at home and to do some stepping which was a good decision and fun. For 6 weeks in a row I had no problem sticking to my 5x per week program and I was definitely overall improving… finally again with FUN and no signs of getting bored with it all.

The 2-week visit from my mom did break this routine. And now? It is back to grunt and effort and “is this over soon?” attitude with a ton of effort trying to muster-up the energy needed to do it. Frustrating!

Trying to get past this slump, I did what had sparked the last boost in the first place : I bought a whole bunch of new DVD’s - this hopefully will again bring back the joy I had before the break and get me back rolling again into the “sure, let’s do it” and “I don’t want to miss a beat” mood.
