Twice a Day.
Twice a day I enjoy using these little containers of half & half. Not too much nor too little, just right - as this is all I use, the larger containers always end to be wasted, but these little ones are perfect for me :
In the morning the day begins with a nice, big, 16 oz cup of tea, fashioned like the British know so well. Of course though they would wince if they’d see my modification to it : Earl Grey it is, but instead of a spoonful of milk it has become to be the remains of one of these little containers, after I gave a drop to share to Tricky, our male tiger cat.
And then, during the day, either mid-afternoon or later in the evening, I love my little 4 oz cup of Nespresso coffee with it’s crema and lightened with some of this half & half.
Looking at these little containers this morning in my fridge brought a smile to my eyes, they encompass past (go to a place in Switzerland and order a coffee, and this is what you’d get, a small coffee with a creme container nested between cup and saucer) and advanced technology (UHT, can be stored outside of the fridge for 3 months) in one.
Two little traditions with their satisfying, calming and make ‘feel right’ moments I cherish day to day.
