Yard, here we come again.

Fall is upon us.

But first, before the leaves will begin drowning us again, we had to take care of some shrubs and bushes and I do not know how to call what all grew wild over the past 3 years and has grown up and along our house, even almost fully covered our bedroom window – and yes, I have had many pictures of the little spiders from these leaves making inside to us and my warm bed – and grew further up onto the roof.

It was 3 hours of hard labor, cutting it all down, shredding it, bagging it and bringing it all to the door.

And there it was again, our house, VISIBLE. Of course there is damage on our siding, 3 years buried under all the leaves and shade and wetness and animals. Will need some work. But at least the continuing damage has been halted.

Our bodies were hurting, painfully hurting. Both. Equally exhausted. It needed be done and it has been done – although we still have a chunk of horrible work ahead : we need to remove the 5 huge stumps, dig them out and them by themselves will be a half a day of work.
