Support Phone Day.

This is what I will call this day and how this day will go down in history.

5 hours support on the phone to South Africa, helping getting a Router physically setup, then the Router software setup.

Getting it working with the Mac was the least, the only thing that needed to be done was to plugin the ethernet cable. Oh yeah baby, Mac IS plug and play.

Then, in the end, on the LAST step, defeat.

After 5 hours.

THAT hurt the most.

There was the step were the ADSL Setup had to be verified and confirmed – particular phone number with the order number. And it would fail, again and again. The only explanation I have is that the order number was wrongly written or never activated and thus we could not verify and activate, and thus, after all the hours of stress for both sides of the phone line there was still no active internet connection.

Exhausted, I really hope that is the only problem, because if not, well, if not I do not know much else what to do to get it up and running.

Please, let there be some good and simple news on this issue tomorrow and a win, not only for me, but also for her.
