that is no alien but the want to be flower from the way I see it .

If it is a date palm it could be the fruit!!!!! If you don’t
like the look of it ..cut it off at the base i,e, at the stem where
it has sprouted from.

Answer B :

It looks to me like an attempt to reproduce – it may be that it could be removed and rooted – I’ll have to look at mine more carefully now. I’m sure you can just cut it off if you want to -
