Have you already misspelled and typed 2007 without thinking?

I’ve been having so many days off from regular work, that I’m already getting used to it. But it was good as it allowed me to catch up with a lot of admin which had piled up.

You might also have noticed some slight changes to the look on this site: The ASIDES category now only shows the recent 2 postings and right under that I’ve added a small cross-link to my latest 2 photos of the myView photo journal blog of mine.

A lot of hours yesterday were spent in updating myView to the latest PIXELPOST software – of course several things broke and in the end I’ve removed the link to the REFERRER page, wasn’t that important to me in the first place, just a nicety. Even got finally the monthly calendar working with my original design, but today I realized that my COMMENTS section is broken too – so I said what the heck and for now I am running the photo blog on a non self-designed template. At least you can comment and you can see the monthly calendar – THE reason why I wanted it freshly rolling!

2 years ago I was quite good at taking my daily photo, but the hassle of getting it off my camera and uploaded to the site made me stumble and at some point I just stopped trying to keep the photo blog up-to-date.

But now, with the iPhone it suddenly became really easy again. It did take some debugging and tinkering until I had the plugin working, but now I can not only send photos from my iPhone to this blog but also directly to the photo blog.

My goal for 2008 is to upload every day a photo to the myView section. Unfortunately the iPhone doesn’t take the greatest pictures, they are mostly soft and washed out, but for a change I will put my aesthetic eye to the side and will concentrate more on the fun and regularity and journal aspect of those photos.
