New Blog Design.

Design is not always control. I’m definitely not all about control. Nor design. Sometimes, in design, it is needed to play. And one has to be open to not always win when going down a path. It’s called exploration. I have definitely done my share of this during my current blog upgrade. Could do more. But design is also being able to step back and letting go. Either because it’s perfect or because it’s the bottom line of a dead end. Or just because the weekend is over. In my case, I began with an idea of using illustrative, ornamental design elements (non painterly) from which I veered away as I was having fun with the tools and new modified ideas emerged. But I very well will go back to it again in a few weeks if I get tired of my current resting point. As it’s my personal blog I enjoy much more freedom than usual and I’ve definitely taken advantage of it this time.
