Drawings from the past

I began scanning some of my older drawings. I mean, WAY older drawings, down to my childhood ones which my mom has held onto for so many years and then brought to me past September when she came to visit.

Many drawings I remember well making, but there are definitely a few that make me scratch my head and some I only belief I made them because I see my (then) tiny signature at the back of them.

Conclusion

After spending a half-a-day with downloading and checking out a variety of templates for the myView photoblog part of my site and adjusting an existing one to serve my main needs, I realize that I might as well create again a new theme from scratch - my original one feels outdated to me and the comment section would need debugging - and then have exactly what I want without having to credit somebody but myself and at the same create something new and modern.

Busy.

Been very productive so far.

By 11 AM I had been already at the Chiropractic, brought my PT Cruiser for inspection, waited in line and registered the car and passed by the bank to send a wire transfer to Switzerland next to getting our kitchen from Hiroshima looking Christmas chaos down to a mild tornado.

And by 2:30 PM I had painted a couple of hours while keeping the washing machine busy and the 2nd machine was in the dryer and I was hungry for my lunch.

Now it is only briefly after 5 PM, our world has once again turned to white and while it is still snowing lightly the fire is romantically crackling in our fire place. I’ve started my first batch of self-made pasta and am looking forward to the result.

Definitely a productive day so far.
