This time around I decided to make a little photo “story” book as I had made on my birthday, capturing some of those fleeting moments (yes, in-between I plain forgot to take pictures, my bad). A few hours ago we dropped him off at the airport where he promptly fell victim to one of those random searches – and they did it thoroughly!!! – what, you don’t believe that 89-year old passengers could be mean bomb carriers? They looked close to request him to take off his shirt! – but anyhow, he made it through that hassle just fine and thus is the time to release the collected photos from his visit – with emphasis on cat pics because he likes them so :

How fast suddenly the past few months flew by. At first it seemed there is so much time, so much time to finish all these little things: the dragon, The Clan Loop, scanning photos and paintings… and now? I drowned in work – a good thing, mind you – and all of these things once again took the back seat. Next to finishing up the redesign of this site, and also of mStudios and of a few sites for Bear. As much as I love to work a lot, when we get back I will need to reorganize my schedule to be more productive in the given time. But for now, I will try and not fret nor worry but just do as much as I can without over-stessing and then to enjoy the stay in Europe. WOW, it has been 8 years for Switzerland. And 10 years for seeing general family and 26 for Anna.

Morning Tweet : Having things turn surreal on me is not something new: please welcome my daughter Anna-Barbara after 26 yrs back into it. I am so thrilled.

On June 1st I received a letter from Switzerland, by seeing the logo alone on the envelope I instantly knew where it was coming from and my heart began to beat fast.

Indeed, it was from the Swiss Adoption Center. I am so glad that I had updated my info with the center when we moved to Kansas! The letter was written somewhat unclear, did she or did she not want contact? First step was to give my okay to relay my information to her (shesh, I thought they had that on file!). Of course I instantly emailed them back. When I did not hear back yesterday I already begun worrying – maybe she found my online blog and now no longer wants to talk to me? I did well though in letting these thoughts drift away and was able to concentrate on work… for the most of the day.

This morning I had an email response. The lady was astonished how fast the letter had arrived by me and happy to hear how open I am, and she said this will make my daughter very very happy to hear. So far contact has been only between them and me, but now she can contact me directly (and the big wait for it begins :-).
